I-751 Approved Despite Divorce

Attorney Mooradian's client, a young man from the Dominican Republic, had been emotionally abused during his prior marriage.  After a thorough I-751 was completed documenting the abuse, along with numerous responses to requests for further evidence and argument, the I-751 petition was approved by USCIS without an interview.  Accordingly, the client is now able to remain in the United States with a ten-year lawful permanent resident status, which may be renewed. In addition, he will be able to eventually apply for citizenship.
