Attorney Mooradian's Client Obtains Citizenship despite Issues with 485 Application

Attorney Mooradian worked closely with his client in order to obtain citizenship.  The application required multiple addenda due to the client's driving history, as well as a concern about incorrect information that may have been provided on his I-485, Adjustment of Status application.  Despite these adverse factors, the client was able to attend the interview without issue.

The client will now be sworn in to become a naturalized citizen.  Lawful permanent residents are typically eligible for Citizenship only after a three or five year waiting period.  The three year waiting period is applicable when the client received his or her Green Card based on marriage. Following Supreme Court precedent, this waiting period applies in same sex marriages as well.
