Attorney Mooradian's client, a child from Haiti, was recently approved for an immigrant visa. The young girl was a derivative beneficiary following her parent's adjustment of status under the Violence Against Women Act.
Following the interview at the consulate, the child's visa was approved. Within about 8 days, she will be able to obtain her passport with visa and travel to the United States. In the United States, she will be reunited with family members, and she hopes to further her education.
