Adjustment of Status for K-1 from Middle East

Mooradian's client, a gentleman from the Middle East, recently received his lawful permanent resident status following an interview at the USCIS Field Office.  The individual had entered the United States pursuant to a K-1 visa after meeting his wife in Jordan. After their marriage, the couple was uncertain about how to proceed in obtaining permanent resident status.

Mooradian was able to prepare an adjustment of status application and educate the couple about the interview process.  Following a brief interview at the USCIS Lawrence Field Office, the adjustment of status was approved and a two-year permanent resident card has been issued.
