Approval, Special Findings for Immigrant Child

Mooradian's client, a young man from Central America who fled neglect by his parents and gang violence in his country of origin, recently received the approval of special findings of fact and rulings of law from the Suffolk Probate and Family Court.  The client fled from his country of origin alone after being directly threatened by gang members.  From there, he was placed in removal proceedings, but is seeking special immigrant juvenile status.  After the court issued its order of special findings pursuant to M.G.L. c. 119, §39M, the client promptly filed his I-360 for Special Immigrant Juvenile Status.  If approved, it will serve as his path to permanent resident status.
