Green Card, Spouse of Citizen

Attorney Mooradian's client, a woman from South America, recently recieved her lawful permanent resident status based on her marriage to a United States Citizen.  The couple, which has two young children, was relieved to be approved for permanent resident status. The case relied on showing three main elements: that the marriage was bona fide in nature; that the beneficiary was eligible to be admitted into the United States; and that the petitioner was willing and able to support the beneficiary financially in the event that she could not support herself.  Of particular concern in this matter was that the beneficiary had overstayed her visa, and that the beneficiary had worked without authorization. Given the client's honesty, Mooradian was able to resolve this questions with the adjudicator.  The client was granter permanent resident status.
