Green Cards for Mother and Daughter from Central America

Mooradian's clients, a mother and daughter, recently received permanent resident status based on their relationship with a U.S. Citizen relatives.  The clients came to Attorney Mooradian following significant delays to their permanent resident status due to poor legal advice that they had received.  The clients had filed only the marriage visa petitions, not understanding that they were in fact eligible to adjust status to that of permanent resident as a one-step adjustment of status.

Mooradian was able to promptly file both adjustment of status applications for mother and daughter, as well as work authorization applications for each of them. Mooradian contacted USCIS to move forward with interviews.  After supplementing the file with additional evidence at the time of interview, the USCIS officer was able to readily approve the matters. Both mother and daughter are now lawful permanent residents of the United States.
