I-360 Approvals for Siblings from Colombia

Mooradian's clients, siblings from Colombia, recently received the approvals of their I-360 petitions for Special Immigrant Juvenile Status.  The clients, who had been subjected to neglect and abandonment by their father, received probate court orders in support of their petitions several months ago. The orders described a lack of financial support, experiencing homelessness, and suffering street and gang related violence, all due in part to the father's lack of emotional or financial support at any time.

Ultimately, the petitions were approved by USCIS. While the I-485 adjustment of status petitions remain pending based upon the now approved I-360, the children appear prima facie eligible to become permanent residents of the United States based upon their approved I-360s.
